Why do I look like I’m 5 and I just got caught sneaking snacks in before dinner?

This beautiful fabric is purple Native American print silk from Paron.

me: I should probably do a correct finish on this.

So yeah … despite finally working with silk, I did no special couture finishes as I told myself I would at least attempt to do this year. Rolled hem won out.

I love this pattern and I’ll definitely make it again. Next time, I’ll adjust the neckline. It’s a bit too high for me and I’m more partial to v-necks, anyway.
